PostClick has a stand alone sales force which effectively represents sites to leading advertisers and ad agencies in Australia. To retain our services, publishers assign to us a pre-agreed percentage commission of the net dollar amount of advertising booked. We are purely a commission based agency – there are no other costs or charges payable by you.
We license DoubleClick’s ad serving product (DFP) to serve the ads onto our network of sites. When you join our network we discuss and agree with you on appropriate ad sizes and positions. We then generate ad tags for you to place on your site so that when we sell an appropriate advertising campaign for your site, ads will appear onsite.
As a general rule, all our partner sites are paid within 30 days of us having received payment from our advertising clients.
This will largely depend on the particular site and the category it falls into. As a guideline, we look for a minimum of 500,000 page impressions and 20,000 unique users per month. There are exceptions to this which will largely depend on the site & the category it falls into.
We licence DoubleClick’s Ad Serving product for Publishers ( DFP) to serve ads onto the network of sites we sell across. All trafficking, reporting & campaign management is handled by our expert Ad Operations team who are skilled in the use & implementation of all ad serving products & systems in the market today.
We work with you to develop a sales information and rate sheet which we upload to our site and publish to advertisers and advertising agencies.
We bring sites exposure through Campaign Briefing interfaces such as Facilitate’s Symphony Media and DoubleClick’s Media Visor, Digital Directory, White and Yellow pages advertising, uploads to our website, and the purchase of appropriate keywords on Google and Yahoo!. Most importantly, we utilise our extensive and valuable ad agency contacts that we have developed over years in the Australian online ad industry. Beyond PostClick’s operations, which commenced in April 2001, PostClick’s principals have been actively involved in the Australian online advertising industry since 1998 and had considerable involvement in the non-online advertising industry prior.
Depending on the category your site falls into, we often have campaigns ready to run across your site once it’s tagged & sales material prepared. As a general rule though it takes between 3 to 4 weeks before we could usually expect to see much activity being booked by advertisers & their agencies.
In most cases yes, it is ideal to protect all parties involved. Standard contracts involve a 12-month partnership as minimum, but this may be varied by mutual consent if required.
Founder & Managing Director of PostClick, Andrew Lockwood, co-founded PostClick in April 2001 following 8 yrs experience in both offline & online roles with Fairfax & DoubleClick Media.
Both our International Account Director, Tasneem Ali & our Melbourne Account Director, Carla Zipper have over 2 years experience each with PostClick. The remainder of our team of 10 bring a variety of work history & solid online experience to their respective roles.
Most importantly though, we have good relationships with many of the major advertising agencies and their advertisers across the markets we operate in, and are well known in the industry overall.
